Built-in ecommerce capabilities are compatible with CPOnline, a web-hosting and ecommerce service from Synchronics, designed especially to provide online stores for CounterPoint merchants.

CPOnline is a monthly service that is suitable for merchants of all sizes. With CPOnline, you can publish your inventory information to your online store, electronically uploading item numbers, descriptions, prices, and available quantities. Shoppers place orders online, and the orders are transmitted electronically to CounterPoint for fulfillment.

CPOnline is a unique and unparalleled ecommerce solution that lets you use CounterPoint to activate an online store with minimal effort and expense.

Shoppers order merchandise in your online store, and orders are transmitted electronically and imported into CounterPoint as Point of Sale orders.

Your online store stays in sync with CounterPoint – your products and prices are always correct.

You can select a user-configurable template for your online store, or develop a custom template using your own designers or POS Hawaii’s design staff (on a fee basis).

If you already have a Web site hosted elsewhere, you can simply include a link from it to your online store.

Requirements

Ecommerce functions are built into CounterPoint. Credit card processing under the Synchronics Merchant Program is part of the CounterPoint Base System. Additional processors are available with the Credit Cards Option.

A Windows workstation with a browser is all that is needed for the exchange of files between CounterPoint and CPOnline. This workstation must have Internet access (from a local ISP) using either a dedicated or dial-up connection.

Security

Security is provided through SSL, an industry standard that employs the latest 128-bit encryption technology to ensure that all transactions in the online store are secure. SSL is employed for all aspects of the online store, including online orders, site administration, and site maintenance.
